Your introduction to the room for your Wedding Breakfast can greatly influence the mood and enjoyment for the whole day !
It doesn’t have to be anything as lively as the video (kindly supplied from @thiefhall as I am rubbish at capturing photos and video) but is the part of the day that really kick starts the celebrations.
Some venues you go to you walk in and it is like a funeral, every wedding is like that and because the introductions were boring and monotone, the rest of the meal follows in the same mood.
Something lively, even as simple as getting everyone on their feet and waving napkins, really gets the party started – I have to say, the girls at Thief Hall have this down to a tee, although on this particular occasion I don’t think anyone was 100% sure what would happen.
It is so important to check you REALLY do have a coordinator/MC who will inject some life into your wedding – quite often it is just a member of staff who is microphone shy, rather than someone with confidence, experience and full of great ideas.
I always make sure when offering the Ultimate Package I inject as much fun, dancing and singing as possible, without overdoing it, however I am almost at capacity for next year already as can only do so many – 18+ hour days take their toll.
