Well tonight marks the ‘beginning of the end’, a statement which would normally bring bad news, but this time it is FANTASTIC.
We have our final restricted wedding this evening then from tomorrow onwards we will at last be able to crank the volume up and encourage people onto the dancefloor. Just goes against everything having to ask people NOT to dance.
Whilst it has been billed as ‘Freedom Day’ we will still be taking precautions and, of course, follow any guidance from government and venues – even though we may not necessarily agree with them and do think a lot are ridiculous.
Since the start of the pandemic, we have constantly been beavering away in the office and are proud to have gained new recommendations from venues, new resident venues and of course many bookings direct from fabulous couples (obviously on top of dealing with many postponements unfortunately).
We have new team members and sadly some have decided to retire from DJing, but all are doing a fantastic job. Whilst it is fair to say we may be a little rusty, certainly with aching muscles as we are not used to setting up and packing away, with the number of weddings these next few weeks we will be up to speed in no time.
We are really busy in the upcoming months which is where YOU can step in to help. Could you PLEASE make sure if you have booked ourselves, you complete your online DJ account information before the deadline of 14 days prior to your wedding. If you do pass this deadline, I am afraid we may be in a position where we cannot guarantee your song requests or other special requests you have.
For now though we are looking to a brighter future, keeping fingers crossed that restrictions do not get reintroduced and most of all letting everyone have the wedding and party afterwards that they have been dreaming of.
