What to look for when hiring a mobile wedding disco

We know that booking a mobile disco for a wedding reception can seem a daunting task - there are so many mobile wedding discos out there...here's a quick list of things to look for.

Do they issue a formal contract or agreement? Check their terms of cancellation and make sure you're covered if they pull out at the last minute.
Do they have public liability insurance? Some venues will not allow mobile discos without it!
Is there equipment PAT tested to ensure it's legal and safe for use.
Ask to see photos of their setup (if it's not shown) - some still use 70's cheese boxes!
Ask if they are approved by any reception venues...if not, there may be a very good reason.
Ask if they use agency DJs - you may not always get the DJ or even the disco you think you're booking!
